Ravi Viswanatthan is a senior cybersecurity executive with more than 28 years of experience leading enterprise security, product security, fraud prevention, and technology risk programs across global financial services, fintech, and technology organizations. He currently serves as Head of Product Security for Payments Security at Capital One, where he leads security strategy for payment platforms supporting credit cards, digital payments, and the integration of Discover’s payment network.
Prior to Capital One, Ravi led Product Security for Amazon Payments, where he was responsible for securing large-scale global payment products and services supporting millions of customers and merchants. Earlier in his career, he held executive cybersecurity leadership roles at Bank of Montreal, leading Insider Risk Management and enterprise cybersecurity initiatives for one of North America’s largest financial institutions.
Ravi has extensive experience evaluating and implementing security technologies, building high-performing security organizations, and advising executive leadership on cyber risk, regulatory compliance, cloud transformation, and digital modernization. He has worked closely with engineering, product, fraud, legal, privacy, compliance, and executive teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle while enabling business growth.
